Risk & Strategy Consulting

For developers who need expert eyes on their projects.

You have projects in the pipeline. You have a design team. What you don't have is someone who has sat on your side of the table and knows what a weak drawing set actually costs you.

I've been on the development side. I've run pre-construction OAC meetings, pushed design teams to solve problems they said couldn't be solved, and translated complex decisions for the people writing the checks. I know what you need from this review because I've been the one asking for it.

I review drawings, identify coordination gaps, and flag risk before it costs you time or money.

What an engagement looks like.

Every engagement starts the same way: you tell me what you're working on, I scope it, propose a fee, and get to work. Engagements are defined and bounded — a specific deliverable within a specific timeframe. No open-ended retainers unless that's explicitly what you've contracted for.

You get a written report. We meet to walk through it. I don't creep into the design team's scope and I don't take on design liability. Clean and simple. Timelines and deliverables vary by engagement type — contact me to discuss what fits your project and schedule.

What this protects

A single avoided change order on a commercial project typically costs $15,000–$50,000 or more. An uncoordinated drawing set going to hard bid invites contractor assumptions, inflated contingencies, and RFIs that slow your schedule and erode your margin.

An independent review before bid or construction is one of the lowest-cost, highest-return investments you can make on a complex project.

Let's talk about your project.

Tell me what you're working on and I'll scope a review that fits your timeline and budget.
